Terms of Service
Who this agreement is with
Mystic Realm, Ashley’s Realm, Mystic Cinematica, and the sibling products under the Mystic Portal umbrella (“the Services”) are operated by Mystic Portal LLC, a California limited liability company (“Mystic”). By creating an account or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you are using the Services on behalf of a business, you represent that you have authority to bind that business.
Your account
- You must be at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction (18 in most US states).
- Keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity on your account.
- Concurrent-device caps apply. Free accounts are limited to one active device at a time; paid tiers to two. Additional sessions will be signed out automatically.
- We may suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms or the acceptable-use rules.
Subscriptions and one-time purchases
- Recurring subscriptions (Charter, Early Access, Public) renew automatically until you cancel. Cancel any time from your billing settings; access continues to the end of the current period.
- The Grumps Circle Founding tier is a one-time purchase capped at 100 seats. It is a lifetime membership at the terms stated at purchase and is bound by the Founding refund policy below.
- Prices are in US dollars unless otherwise stated. Taxes may be added at checkout.
Founding Access — refund policy
Mystic Cinematica is in active development. Your Founding Membership funds the compute, voice models, and infrastructure that let us build Ashley, Hey Mystic, and future Realms with you — not for you.
Because every dollar goes directly into training, tuning, and deploying live AI systems on your behalf, all Founding purchases are final and non-refundable. You are joining a private beta and helping shape a product still in motion.
By purchasing, you acknowledge that Founding Access is a support-and-shape membership, not a finished product, and that no refunds, credits, or chargebacks will be issued for beta features, roadmap changes, or feature availability.
Recurring-subscription refund policy
Monthly subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by law. If you believe you were charged in error, email hello@mysticcinematica.com within 30 days and we will review in good faith.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Services to:
We reserve the right to remove content and terminate accounts that break these rules. The full acceptable-use policy — including per-Realm content rules — is listed in the Coming soon section below and will replace this summary once published.
- Generate content that sexualizes minors, depicts non-consensual acts, or is illegal in your jurisdiction.
- Impersonate real individuals without their documented consent.
- Produce disinformation, defamation, harassment, or hate directed at a person or protected group.
- Attempt to extract our models, credentials, source code, or private data.
- Resell, rebrand, or sub-license the Services without a signed partnership agreement.
Intellectual property
Mystic Realm characters (including Ashley, Adonis, Medusa, Hecate, Grumps, and any other canon persona), the Mystic logotype, and the Realm architecture are the exclusive property of Mystic Portal LLC. Multiple patent applications covering the underlying companion, signed-knowledge, and multimodel routing systems are pending.
You retain ownership of the original prompts, companion configurations, and creative text that you author. You grant Mystic a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, transmit, back up, and display that content solely to operate the Services for you. We do not sell your content and do not use it to train third-party foundation models without your explicit opt-in.
Media the Services generate on your behalf is yours to use inside and outside the Realm, subject to your active tier’s license terms.
Third-party services
The Services integrate with third-party vendors including Stripe (payments), Supabase (data), OpenAI and Google (models), Deepgram (fallback voice), Vercel and Fly.io (hosting), and Cloudflare R2 (media). Your use of those services is subject to their own terms in addition to ours.
Beta and roadmap
Many features are labeled beta or coming soon. We may add, change, or remove features at any time. Marketing and product surfaces state that short clips are available now and that full-length productions are coming mid-Q3 2026 — that timeline is a good-faith target, not a contractual delivery date.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The Services are provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mystic Portal LLC and its owners, employees, and vendors are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits or data, arising from your use of the Services. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Mystic harmless from claims arising out of your content, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of another party’s rights.
Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California, unless a binding arbitration addendum is separately agreed. Nothing in this section limits your rights under applicable consumer protection laws.
Changes
We may update these Terms as the Services grow. Material changes take effect no less than 14 days after we notify you (by email or in-product notice). Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
